Board Meeting, November 18, 2020

MINUTES FOR THE SAN ANTONIO VILLAGE OWNERS’ ASSOCIATION MONTHLY

MEETING ON NOVEMBER 18, 2020

Dawn Lucian (President), Diane Kirchner (Vice President), Mike Porter (Treasurer), Chad Lindblad (Secretary), Ken Masuda (Member at Large), Manager Daniel Ortiz and 4 homeowners were present.
The meeting was called to order by Dawn Lucian at 7:01 P.M.

1) Approved minutes for October 14, 2020 meeting.

2) October financial report presented by Mike Porter and approved by the board.

Financial Report: At the end of October 2020 our total operating income is $259,141 or 99.7% of our budget plan of $260,007. The variance is due to CD income only being booked when a CD matures. Our total operating expenses are $205,761 or 88.6% of our budget plan of $232,278. Grounds/Maintenance Materials are under budget by $13,398. These funds will be spent later in the fiscal year. Pest Control is under budget by $2,590. Water is over budget by $3,551 but the combined other utilities are under budget by $2,025. Federal, State and Property taxes are under budget by $9,158. All Federal, State and Property taxes have been paid for the fiscal year.

3) Manager Daniel Ortiz discussed Santa Barbara County’s purple COVID status and impact on the Village. Pool rules will remain in place and recreation area will remain closed.

4) Due to winter months, the pool remains closed to residents. One homeowner asked the Board to consider opening for exercise purposes, however, gas (heating) and maintenance costs would be sizable.
