SAN ANTONIO VILLAGE BOARD MEETING
MINUTES FOR JANUARY 21, 2009

The January 21, 2009 meeting of the San Antonio Village Owners’ Association was called to
order at 7:30pm by Board President, Dawn Lucian.  Also present were Board Members
Peter Sturken, Bettina Johnson and Carey Rogers; SAV Manager, Karel de Veer and Tim
Hodgson; and seven homeowners.

The minutes for the meeting of December 17, 2008, were approved.

Karel de Veer presented the Financial Report for July to December 2008.  We are still below
budget for spending and our revenues are at 99.2%. The capital project in Section 2 will be
finished in a few days.  We have done a total of 65 units in Sections 2 & 3.  Board member
Pat Snyder arrived during the report.

Tim met with the representative of Dolphin Pool & Spa and they have replaced the shut-off
valve in the spa.  The main pool and kiddie pool still need to be done and they are trying find
a way without draining the pool.  The spa will be drained and replastered.

After discussion about the metal railings that have been installed by some owners on their
steps, Dawn made a motion to have them painted by the Association to match the trim of
each building.  Motion passed.  There are approximately five screen doors that still need
painting or replacement.

The diseased hedges on Calle Real are not improving. It was decided to remove them and
plant bougainvillea against the fences in those locations.  Ground cover will also be planted
and the fencing will be repaired or replaced by Tim as needed.

New Business:
Bicycles in the carports must be hung laterally in the front or placed under the storage
cabinets.
Homeowners from Section 3 asked for help with the many cars and trucks that pull into the
cul-de-sac to turn around when they can’t proceed down Calle Real. Residents’ cars have
been damaged and some of the incidents are hit-and-run. The Association will place new
signs at the entrance that declare NO OUTLET and NO TURNAROUND.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Carey Rogers, Board Secretary
