SAN ANTONIO VILLAGE BOARD MEETING
MINUTES FOR JANUARY 20, 2010

The January 20, 2010 meeting of the San Antonio Village Owners Association was called to order at
7:32pm by President Dawn Lucian.  Present were Board Members Bettina Johnson, Peter Sturken and
Carey Rogers; SAV Manager, Karel de Veer and three homeowners.

The minutes for the meeting of December 19, 2009, were approved.

Manager Karel de Veer gave the financial report for December 2009 and year to date.  For December, our
budgeted income is at 100.4% and budgeted expenses are at 113.9%. We have paid the last of the legal
fees on the foreclosed unit.

Year to date income is at 100.4% and expenses are at 96.9%.

Our former gardener, Armando Franco has returned as of 2/1/10.  We will keep three gardeners through
the winter.

Calle Real /Landscaping: Thrips and white flies are coming back on the Calle Real hedges. Rather than
continuing to treat them, which is not controlling the problem, the hedges and other plants should be
removed.  To protect  the residents privacy, we would need to put in higher fences and then plant new
hedges.  Karel will speak to the affected homeowners about splitting the cost of the new fences.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:11 p.m.
