Board Meeting, June 19, 2019

MINUTES FOR THE SAN ANTONIO VILLAGE OWNERS’ ASSOCIATION
MONTHLY MEETING FOR JUNE 19, 2019

Dawn Lucian (President), Mike Porter (Secretary), Bettina Johnson (Treasurer) and Chad Lindblad (Member at Large) were in attendance. Manager Karel de Veer and six homeowners were also in attendance.

The meeting was called to order by Dawn Lucian at 7:00 P.M.

1) The minutes from the May 29, 2019 meeting were approved.

2) Treasurer’s Report: Bettina Johnson
At the end of the eleventh month of our SAV fiscal year, our Total Income is $668,755. or 99.2% of our 2018-2019 budget and our Total Expenses are $611,227. or 91.3%. Our Other/Rental Income is $33,000. or 100% so our Total Net Income, which is either spent or saved for Capital Maintenance projects is $90,527. or $244.7% of our budget although $32,372 may be rolled over to complete the updating of both the flooring and furniture of our Recreation Room.

3) Manager Karel de Veer has two bids for Recreation Room flooring and is waiting for a bid from a third vendor. Dawn Lucian and Karel de Veer with shop for Recreation Room furniture.

4) Maintenance Manager Kent Harris will buy samples of carport and sidewalk lights. The lights will be installed in various locations so we can determine if the lights meet our requirements for brightness and style.

5) New state laws require San Antonio Village to make some revisions to our rules. The revised rules will be presented at the July meeting for approval.

6) The current rules state that the speed limit in San Antonio Village is 10 M.P.H. The signs at the entrances to San Antonio Village have the speed limit posted as 15 M.P.H. The board voted unanimously to keep the speed limit at 10 M.P.H. as posted in the rules. The signs at the entrances will be revised to reflect the 10 M.P.H. speed limit.

7) No trespassing signs are being placed on the back path gates.

8) An owner expressed concern regarding pool noise late in the evening. The pool area closes at 10:00 P.M. and any late night pool noise should be reported to the office.

9) Jeff Litherland volunteered to research potential social media outlets which San Antonio Village residents could use to communicate with one another.

The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. (rescheduled from July 17, 2019).
